Qualified dental nurse and beautician

Hydrafacial treatments , injectable treatments and skin analysis are carried out by our qualified dental nurse /beautician Desiree Maharaj. She is a qualified Hydrafacial and ZO Skin professional allowing her to give advice on skin care . She is able to advise of acne, rosacea , anti ageing products available at the practice.

You will need to book a consultation with her to suggest products available and how the HydraFacial will work in conjunction with these products to ensure results . This will lead to healthy skin and improve overall appearance together with the dentist on site providing treatments such as SureSmile aligners and teeth whitening to complete the package.

Beauty treatment at the dentist?

When patients complete the questionnaire on what bothers them most it is usually their skin ageing and their teeth. Who is better qualified than a dentist to provide this help as they have studied the face and focus on facial features. Dentists are not just taught about teeth but the facial anatomical structures as well which puts them in a position to provided facial treatments. They see patients on a regular basis and will examine for spots ,lumps and changes in facial symmetry. They are unable to offer non surgical facial treatments to help with anti aging, TMJ disorders and bruxism.

Dentists can, however, provide all round facial treatments including straightening of teeth and whitening . The dentist and their team are able to help you with your skin and smile making you happier about your appearance. You just need to call for an appointment and assessment.
